Sports Medicine
St. Mary's Sports Medicine Program serves athletes of all ages and skill levels with athletic care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation services.
The staff is comprised of certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, and orthopedic physicians. Services include:
- Field-side injury management
- Athletic screenings
- Injury prevention, care, and rehabilitation
- Athletic training education for students, coaches, athletes, and parents
- Continuum of care from initial injury care by athletic trainer, to physician to physical therapist
St. Mary's physical therapists and athletic trainers provide services to most local high school practices and athletic events and many other community sporting events.
Athletes can also take advantage of the St. Mary's Life Center Wellness Center, a fully equipped fitness facility and therapy pool staffed by exercise physiologists.
